My Story
I believe good design and powerful storytelling is the product of hard work and honest collaboration. From conception to project completion, listening is a top priority to ensure I deliver the best possible results for my clients.

An MFA graduate from the University of Georgia School of Theatre and Film I completed my design degree with a proven proficiency in Scenic, Costume, and Lighting design with a primary focus in Scenic Design.
I have been a part of the professional theatre community of Atlanta since 2016, proudly completing my apprenticeship at the Aurora Theatre in 2017. My work as a designer, set dresser, puppet artisan, and scenic painter has been showcased around the Metro Atlanta area.

Scenic Design
As an MFA graduate from the University of Georgia School of Theatre and Film Studies Cody's primary focus is Scenic Design under the mentorship of Julie Ray.
Digital Illustration
Proficient at Photoshop, Procreate, and Sketchup, Cody Russell's Digital Illustration work has been featured by several companies and he often works on personal commissions for individual clients.
Scenic Painting
Cody's Scenic Painting work has made its way to several regional theaters in the Atlanta area.
Props Design
Cody's Prop Design journey began back in 2008 when he began working as a props artisan. His props and set dressing work has been featured by more than a dozen theaters in the Atlanta area. He also works as a freelance puppet artisan.
